Why 'Guitar and Faith?'

I chose to add a 'Faith' element to this guitar blog to expand the subject of guitar into areas uncharted by most other posts and to integrate faith, not as a part, but as the 'source' and 'cause' of all my passion, ability and success as a guitarist and teacher.

All the dreams, talents, and hopes I had as a young guitar player have been carefully maneuvered by the hand of a caring creator into something more beautiful and blessed than I could have envisioned. If I grow restless and anxious in trying times I can open up the pages of my life's story and rediscover the joy, inspiration and provision of a loving God.

This is the place to start.

Welcome to Guitar and Faith

At the start I would like to welcome you into a conversation on guitar and faith. For my part of the conversation I will draw from a lifelong of passion and study of the guitar, a steady and growing faith in God, and a host of 'great ideas' from 'great books' in philosophy and religion. As all conversations need more than one person involved, I look forward to involvement and input from you... the guitarist... enthusiast... beginner or pro... with much or little faith. See you soon!
